Our Newest Micro-Loan

Meet Viola!

We are absolutely thrilled to share that in less than a year, one of our micro-loan recipients has paid back her entire loan! Elly, an agricultural entrepreneur in Kenya, has fully repaid her micro-loan, which means that we had enough funding to make a brand new loan. After doing some research, our next micro-loan was made to Viola.

She resides in the remote area of Eldoret, where she has been in the farming business for several years. Viola is a single mother who is using her income to pay for her children’s education.

Viola applied for this loan to enable her to purchase fertilizers, hybrid seeds, and foliar spray. With these materials, she can improve the quality of her crops, along with increasing her overall yield. This will give her a competitive advantage over other sellers in her local market. All profits from the sale of her crops will go to improving the quality of life for her family.
