Micro-Loans
Because we believe in doing our part to help others, we’ve started to send a portion of our profits to a Microfinance program that makes loans to entrepreneurs. We’ve just made our very first loans to two women entrepreneurs in Kenya who raise cows and grow crops. These loans will provide a means to purchase more seeds and to improve the care of their animals to increase their output. Once the loan is re-paid, any profits that the entrepreneurs have will be used to provide their children with education.
