Our first Book Club meetup in February was such a great chance to learn, discuss, and have conversation that we’ll be giving it another go, but we need your help picking our next text. The options are:

: “The Girl Who Smiled Beads” by Clementine Wamariya

: “The Displaced” by Viet Than Nguyen

: “The Last Hunger Season” by Roger Thurow

As you can see, our next topics of discussion will revolve around stories of refugees and stories of hunger. The aim of the April group is to learn more about these human conditions and about ways to end them to ensure that equity is prevalent across the world.
